The Putney Houses are a set of two historic homes in Richmond, Virginia, built in 1859. From 1862 until 1894, they were the residences of Samuel and Stephen Putney, father and son shoe manufacturers.

The Samuel Putney House at 1010 E. Marshall Street is a three-story, three bay Italianate style townhouse with rich architectural decoration. It features a delicate cast iron, one-story porch across the first story.

The neighboring Stephen Putney House at 1012 E. Marshall Street is a three-story, three-bay stuccoed brick dwelling featuring a magnificent two-story verandah of ornamental cast iron on the east side. It was produced by the local Phoenix Iron Works and is the most ambitious production of domestic ironwork in a city famed for cast iron, according to the Virginia Department of Historic Resources.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1969, both houses have been restored for use as offices by Virginia Commonwealth University.
