A North Chesterfield homeowner reached out to Retex in March after experiencing a roof leak on-and-off for years. We assessed his roof and determined the flat roof portion as well as some sections of shingles and flashing around the chimney had to be replaced.


Once we started tearing off his roof, we realized a bigger issue on hand: There were SIX layers of roof!


Retex repair team member Julio holds up a piece of the roof showing all six layers. It appears past roofers tried to seal up the issue by layering on top of it – not really a solution we can stand behind.
