How Long Does the Window Replacement Process Take?

If you need to replace your home’s windows, you may be wondering how long the window replacement process takes.

Retex installed a new roof and new windows for this North Chesterfield VA home in 2022 and 2023, respectively.

Once you choose to move forward with replacing your windows with RETEX, we estimate it will take 4-6 weeks for your windows to come in and for us to install them. This estimate depends on the supplier and window type with more unique windows (picture windows, for example, or specialty trim colors) possibly prolonging the installation. 


When it comes to the window installation, it depends on the number of windows. Usually, our window installation team takes 1-3 days to replace your windows, trim, caulking, and insulation, and clean up after installation. We then complete a final walkthrough inspection, to ensure the job was completed to your satisfaction.
