How We Give Back: Retex's Community Involvement
When we first established Retex as a local roofing and home exterior business, we were firm in our mission to create a company that gives back to its community.
With that in mind, we committed to volunteering once a month with Richmond’s Habitat for Humanity.
Since then, we’ve expanded our community outreach, through continued monthly volunteer days with Habitat and MENO Recovery, occasional roof repair projects for Project Homes, and through Owens Corning’s Roof for a Vet program this year.
Through this program, we asked our community for help in identifying a local veteran who needed to replace their roof but didn’t have the means to pay for it. We then donated our labor and Owens Corning supplied the roofing materials to bridge the gap without spending a dollar.
We love being a part of the Greater Richmond community and being able to help locally. We hope to do even more next year. Thank you for being a part of our Retex community.
