Retex's Mark Erickson & Katelyn Lewis spent Friday installing doors, cutting and nailing in baseboards, and learning how to cope trim with Richmond's Habitat for Humanity!
"We really enjoyed working with [Habitat's] Dylan, who was such a great teacher," Katelyn said of their November volunteer day.
With Katelyn as the day's DJ, they were able to install most of the trim on the first floor of this new construction home on Talbert Dr. alongside two other volunteers while they jammed out to 80s hits.

This Midlothian homeowner originally reached out to Retex in October 2023 for a roof repair for a leak in her kitchen as well as a roof replacement estimate. This story began in April 2022, when a neighbor with many hats – a fellow Surreywoodian, a local pastor, and owner of an auto mechanic shop – reached out to RETEX’s Josh Lewis and Mark Erickson to assess his church’s roof and siding after experiencing hail damage.
