How can you make sure your contractor is reliable?
Make sure they have the following five attributes:
- Stellar references and reviews: Ask for references and check online reviews to see what other customers have to say about the contractor's reliability.
- Contracts & Timelines:
Contractors who are reliable will explain and provide a detailed contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
- Clear Communication:
Reliable contractors will communicate clearly and regularly with you, providing updates on progress and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Insurance & License:
They should have and be able to easily provide you with copies of their license and insurance, protecting themselves and you.
- Professionalism: A reliable contractor will be professional in their interactions with you, showing up on time, being respectful, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Unfortunately there are folks out there more concerned with a quick sale than with helping you with your home exteriors.
