Wrapping Our Teachers Treats Initiative 2025
It’s official: We’ve wrapped our 2025 Teachers’ Treats initiative.
Two of our company core values are to give back to our community and to support continued education. So RETEX’s Katelyn Lewis started the RETEX Teachers’ Treats initiative in September to support the local teachers and staff in our area as they work hard to educate our future leaders.
In November, Katelyn helped to stock the teachers’ lounge at Beulah Elementary (where one of our past clients teaches!) and we supplied lunch for the teachers and staff at Swift Creek Elementary on Nov. 14 (peep RETEX’s Mark Erickson!). And RETEX’s Robert Greene supported the Woodbrook Elementary Walk-A-Thon with fruit and granola bars. We also received this sweet letters from one of the teachers at Brock Road Elementary in Spotsylvania.
Between Richmond, Charlottesville, and Fredericksburg, we’ve spread love and given a pick-me-up to nearly 2,000 teachers and staff at 23 schools this fall.
Our kind of classroom magic: treats, thanks, and community support. Thank you to all of the wonderful PTA leaders who helped make these dropoffs happen, and for the opportunity to pitch in and love on your teachers and staff.
