Are Gutter Guards Worth It?

Short answeR: It depends.
We recommend gutter guards for homeowners:
- Whose homes are surrounded by trees
- Who aren’t excited about climbing a ladder twice a year
- Who want to prevent clogged gutters and related water damage
Gutter guards keep debris out of your gutters, preventing moisture-related rot and rust. But it’s important to note: while they minimize the need for regular cleaning, gutter guards aren’t maintenance-free. You’ll have to keep the guards clear of debris, and if you pick a cheap or poorly-installed guard, it can clog, sag, or even make things worse by causing water overflow.
