Protect the blueberry tree at all costs: Thanks so much for your review, Patrick!

replacing roof

Montpelier homeowner Patrick Fadden reached out to RETEX in January for an estimate for replacing his home's roof and windows. The second photo is from RETEX's Mark Erickson during his initial assessment and meeting with Patrick.

After RETEX installed 20 Provia Aspect windows and an Owens Corning Duration "Williamsburg Grey" asphalt shingle roof this spring, Patrick left us a 5-star Google review:

“Just had my 30+ year old roof and windows replaced by Retex and couldn’t have had a better experience. From the start the entire team is straight forward and transparent with the process. Their communication is phenomenal, providing timely updates throughout the entire project. I made known from day 1 my worry about damage to my garden and particularly my blueberry tree but the very first question the installation teams had on the morning of install was “where is the blueberry tree?” That meant a lot to me and gave me confidence that my concerns were being addressed effectively. I could tell the team took extra precautions when working around the tree with the roof and window insulation and no damage occurred to the tree! Would highly recommend!!”

We appreciate your support of our local business, Patrick!

P.S. If you’re a homeowner in Charlottesville, Fredericksburg, or Richmond and you need an estimate for your roof, siding, windows, or gutters, Retex is the team to call. Reach us at 804-442-3314 to tell us more about your project.

This story began in April 2022, when a neighbor with many hats – a fellow Surreywoodian, a local pastor, and owner of an auto mechanic shop – reached out to RETEX’s Josh Lewis and Mark Erickson to assess his church’s roof and siding after experiencing hail damage.

It’s smart to brush up on your roofing knowledge ahead of the storm, in case you start noticing ceiling spots in your bathroom or a dripping sound from your attic.
