Exploring Richmond: Perk! Coffee & Lunchbox
In honor of their eighth anniversary this month, we want to take a moment to highlight a Retex- and Bon-Air staple: Perk! Coffee & Lunchbox.
Perk! opened in 2015 as "an independent community cafe with a focus on locally sourced coffee and food," according to their website. Besides having incredible coffee drinks and breakfast sandwiches, Perk! has created a welcoming space for all with goodies from at least a dozen local vendors, from Jones'In For A Treat dog treats and Cirrus Vodka's cocktail mixers to handmade cards, mugs, and jewelry.
Perk! is without a doubt our favorite local coffee spot (you can probably catch Retex's Josh Lewis here at least three times a week!), and we wish them continued success as they keep creating delicious food, lattes, and community.
