Retex Habitat Volunteer Day – February 2023

On February 17, the Retex team headed to Richmond Habitat’s Talbert Drive build site to help with some punch-out items on this nearly-completed home.
We had a full crew join us for our team volunteer day, including Retex’s Katelyn Lewis, Josh Lewis, Caleb Hennon, John Gordon, Bryan Rizo, and Julio Castillo Marin. We installed door and bathroom hardware; painted ceilings and walls; and helped clean up the accumulated dust. And after our volunteering morning, we headed out for a team lunch at the Continental Manchester.
We love our volunteer days with Habitat, not only for the chance to contribute to our local community, but also for the opportunity it gives our team to spend time together outside of work. And we highly recommend spending a day volunteering with this incredible organization to anyone in the Richmond metro area!
