This story began in April 2022, when a neighbor with many hats – a fellow Surreywoodian, a local pastor, and owner of an auto mechanic shop – reached out to RETEX’s Josh Lewis and Mark Erickson to assess his church’s roof and siding after experiencing hail damage.
Fast forward through months of back-and-forth with the church’s insurance company, we were able to help Tomahawk Baptist Church get new roofs for all of their buildings except the main sanctuary and new siding for the non-brick buildings, wrapping up the project in November of that year.
We used Tamko Proline Titan architectural shingles for the sloped roofs; TPO membrane for the flat roofs; and CertainTeed Mainstreet vinyl siding in “Colonial White” for the Thornton Chapel.
